Description
A Rustic Craftsman Bird Feeder
Welcome Orioles into Your Yard
Let the natural charm of the Oriole Hanging Bird Feeder attract feathered friends. This functional garden accent fits any decorative theme and gives birds a place to replenish on their journey.
🌳 Ornithologically Appropriate Design
- Feeding Stations: Wooden dowels for orange slices and a ramekin for fruit bits, jelly, or homemade nectar. These foods provide the carbohydrates and fuel that Orioles require for their migratory journeys.
- Function-Over-Frills: A minimalist design principle loved by birds – untreated raw cedar is resistant to rot and provides a natural, tree-like feeding place
- Eco-Friendly Fastenings: Old fashioned screws and staples instead of potentially toxic glues used by other manufacturers
- Bonus: Unvarnished cedar is a natural parasite deterrent
Inventory Note
If listed as "out of stock" please be assured that it will be in stock again within 1-2 weeks. This item is made in small batches, and raw wood supply can fluctuate.

At their family-owned workshop in northern Wisconsin just 80 miles from Lake Superior, the craftsmen individually hand build each birdhouse with a fine attention to the details that take the birds' wellbeing to heart.
Natural and durable, their unvarnished cedar wood is free from harmful chemicals and will blend right into the surrounding environment. Perfect for wrens, chickadees, bluebirds, and other regional songbirds of similar size.Â
Shipping Made Simple
Fountainful provides free standard shipping in the Lower 48 U.S. thanks to our partnership with 20+ freight carriers. Residents of Alaska, Hawaii, or Canada: please contact us for available options.
Delivery Methods That Appear at Checkout
"Standard Shipping" – Free to our customers
- Arrives on a pallet via LTL freight truck (similar to large furniture).
- Placed near the bottom of the driveway and off to one side, wherever you direct.Â
- Signature by someone over 18 is almost always required.Â
- Does not include setup, assembly, or package disposal.
"UPS Insured or USPS Priority" – Free to our customers
- Automatically selected for small/light items that are delivered in a parcel box by UPS or the U.S. Mail.Â
- When ordered in addition to a palletized item, the design team will include it on the pallet if possible so that both items arrive together.Â
Upgrade: "Threshold/Inside Property" – Rates provided at checkout
- Same as Standard Shipping, except the freight carrier will cross your property line (i.e., the threshold) and lower the pallet outside of the first dry area (e.g., garage, covered porch).Â
- Sometimes referred to as "Top of Driveway."
- Does not include setup, assembly, or package disposal.
Hard-to-Reach Addresses for Pallet Shipments
- Most LTL carriers use a standard 28-foot trailer, and it is the driver's discretion if they can safely drive down your street.
- For hard-to-reach addresses (i.e., narrow or dead-end streets) or unusual driveway configurations, some carriers may charge extra or require the shipment to be "rescued" by a different carrier. If this happens, we'll relay the additional cost for which you are responsible.
Help prevent an unplanned extra cost by using the Order & Delivery Instructions box on the Shopping Cart page to give us a heads up about any potential delivery considerations before the order is ready to ship.
➤ When in doubt, opt for the Threshold Upgrade, as this covers a lot of tricky delivery requirements with the freight carrier.Â

Misc. Delivery Terms (pallet shipments only)
Special Instructions | If there are special delivery instructions for the freight carrier, please let us know at the time of order so accommodations may be made. There may be additional charges for special requests or you may need to make your own delivery accommodations once the piece arrives to your area. This is especially true for high-rise buildings. Cancellation of an order after it arrives and is subsequently determined to be undeliverable is subject to courtesy partial refund only after a Policy Exception is authorized. |
Delivery Appt. & Holds/Storage | Similar to furniture deliveries, the carrier may call you before delivery to schedule drop off. If you commit to an appointment and are not present to accept delivery, or if you confirm a delivery date and subsequently reschedule, a re-delivery fee may be charged for which you are responsible. If the carrier must hold your pallet beyond their standard courtesy period, you are responsible for any storage fees. If a shipment is at risk of being returned to the design studio because you cannot be reached, Fountainful may update the service level to No Signature Required to spare you from shipping costs should a pallet be returned. |
Change of Address | Any fee charged by the carrier for a change/re-consign of the original delivery address is your responsibility. |
Forklift |
A small handful of items will require you to agree to the Forklift Delivery Terms before you can add the item to your cart. In these cases, the pallet(s) cannot be lowered on the lift gate and must be removed from the truck with a forklift. Plan ahead by contacting a local contractor or small equipment rental outfit (e.g., Lowes) if you're not already working with a landscaper who has this equipment. |
Always inspect your delivery. See the Refund Policy for a Delivery Inspection Checklist.
